Job Overview

The Workplace Standard Auditor and Trainer role is a key position that supports the Executive Team in achieving their missions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the mining industry and experience working on related missions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct gap assessments of India mica processors and mica mines versus RMI's Global Workplace Standard (GWS)
  • Support processors and mine owners in implementing corrective action plans and closely follow up on their progress
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocol for RMI members
  • Liaise with RMI accredited external auditing companies
  • Develop training content for auditors and conduct online or face-to-face training sessions
  • Perform quality checks on audit reports
  • Analyze audit data and build presentations for team and members

The successful candidate will work closely with the RMI governance bodies, Executive team, members, and partners. They will be based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, India, and will need to travel occasionally to other districts.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in International Development, Business, Engineer/Mining, or Social Auditing
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain social and environmental auditing
  • Good knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations, Industrial EHS requirements, Quality and Production systems
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects
