About the Role

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Altrr Software Services Limited, you will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain fullstack web applications using the MERN stack.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints to support frontend features.
  • Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces with React.js while ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and designs into functional frontend components.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and modular backend code using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Implement database schemas and queries for optimal performance using MongoDB.
  • Optimize applications for scalability, high availability, and security.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Work with version control systems like Git to manage collaborative workflows.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into development processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in fullstack web development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
  • Strong understanding of React.js concepts, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with backend frameworks like Express.js and working knowledge of RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
  • Experience with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or MobX.
  • Knowledge of modern frontend workflows, including Webpack, Babel, and build tools like Vite.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and frontend performance optimization.
  • Experience with authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, or session-based authentication.
  • Proficient in using tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing and documentation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Heroku, Vercel).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) using Next.js.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Mocha.
  • Knowledge of CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled-Components or frameworks like TailwindCSS.
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of caching mechanisms using tools like Redis or Memcached.
