Leap, a global student mobility platform, is revolutionizing user experiences through collaboration and cutting-edge design. As a Product Designer II - Branding Expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving engagement with intuitive interfaces, fueled by B2C expertise and customer insights.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our leadership team and contribute to shaping our design standards and patterns. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a rocketship and participate in the upside.

  • You will be solving complex branding problems with massive upside if you succeed them in a super fast-paced environment that will challenge you.
  • With enough resources to be audacious and mentorship from an experienced founding team, you will have the freedom to explore multiple high-level approaches to solving problems for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and business teams to deeply understand the problems you're solving for our customers.
  • Design our experience and visual elements and evolve them further as our products mature and scale.
  • Design prototypes and perform usability testing/guerilla testing of your design work.
  • Ensure the voice of the customer is present by incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design.

Requirements

  • Have 2-4 years of experience as a product designer in a B2C setup.
  • Contribute in building design culture, in addition to individual contributions.
  • Have working knowledge of Figma and how component libraries/design systems are set up there.
  • Have knowledge of technical constraints and best practices in designing digital platforms and responsive web design principles.
