Job Overview
As a Senior Automotive E-Drive Integration Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative e-drive solutions for passenger cars. Your expertise will be utilized to conceptualize, develop, and implement cutting-edge technology that meets the company's high standards.

Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate e-drive systems into passenger vehicles, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
2. Design and develop robust structural components, taking into account factors like package, manufacturing, tooling, assembly, material, coatings, torque, tolerance, testing, and global certification requirements.
3. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and advancements in e-drive integration and structural design, applying this knowledge to improve existing processes and products.
4. Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
5. Develop and maintain technical documentation, utilizing Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) tools and other relevant software applications.
6. Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, identifying challenges, and collaborating with team members to resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive e-drive integration and structure design and development for passenger cars.
2. Proficiency in Siemens NX Part Design, Surface Design, Drawings, Product Life Cycle tools, and GD & T.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and propose effective solutions.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to work independently and lead projects effectively.
5. Familiarity with automation tools and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven track record of successful e-drive integration and structural design projects, with a strong portfolio of achievements.
3. Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams towards common goals.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.
5. German language proficiency would be an asset, but not essential.
