Senior Data Analyst Position

About this role:

This Senior Data Analyst position is responsible for timely producing and filing the monthly CCAR FR Y-14M Residential Real Estate Schedules, including data validation, data adjustment, and reconciliation to the FR Y-9C. The successful candidate will also perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) due to changes in regulatory reporting requirements, enhancements to the CCAR Business Application, or updates to the existing code base for capturing and populating required data.

Key responsibilities include monitoring ongoing data quality via internal external edit checks, driving ongoing data remediation, including development of new sources and implementation of new business processes, developing dashboard and create ad-hoc reporting as needed using self-service tools like Power BI, Incorta, Collibra, etc.

The ideal candidate will be a self-driven individual with the ability to work independently and on multiple activities concurrently. A strong understanding of Banking Products and US Regulatory reporting framework for Residential Real Estate Loans, Commercial Loans, CRE loans is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Master in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, MBA or a related field
  • Banking Finance domain knowledge
  • Strong technical skills, systems knowledge (e.g., SAS, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Advanced Excel

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Risk Management, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Counterparty Data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
