Medical Transcription Professional

We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcription Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting voice recordings into written medical reports and documents.
The ideal candidate will have strong listening skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in medical terminology and abbreviations. They will also possess fast and accurate typing skills, good grammar, punctuation, and editing ability. Familiarity with medical transcription software & EHR systems is highly preferred.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio instructions of medical notes, consultations, discharge summaries, operative reports, etc., into clear, accurate reports.
- Edit and proofread transcribed reports for grammar, spelling, and medical terminology errors.
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain patient records with strict confidentiality as per healthcare data protection guidelines.
- Use transcription software, speech recognition tools, and electronic health records (EHR) to complete tasks efficiently.
- Format reports according to hospital/clinic style requirements.
- Communicate with doctors or healthcare providers for clarification when needed.
- Deliver error-free reports within strict deadlines.
- Required Skills:
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Good grammar, punctuation, and editing ability.
- Knowledge of healthcare documentation standards.
- Familiarity with medical transcription software & EHR systems.
- Ability to work independently with high concentration.
Qualifications:
Any Graduate.
Specialized Medical Transcription training/certification is highly preferred.
