Senior Software Development Lead

Job Description:

This Senior Software Development Lead will contribute to all areas of development and operations (pre-production to production) in a global team supported by business and architecture partners. The role involves guiding a team of engineers through their day-to-day process, providing a central escalation point for production concerns, and participating in Agile ceremonies. As a leader in the technology space, this individual will bring a high level of technical knowledge and strong mentoring abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to all areas of development and operations (pre-production to production)Guide a team of engineers through their day-to-day processProvide a central escalation point for production concernsParticipate in Agile ceremoniesMentor junior engineersDevelop and implement complex software systemsWork closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience
  • 6+ years of experience with Angular/AngularJS
  • 6+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code
  • A solid understanding of AJAX, JavaScript, and Bootstrap framework
  • 6+ years of experience with RESTful services
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Cypress
  • Hands-on experience implementing complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, and services
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java
  • Experience designing applications using frameworks like Spring Boot and Java microservices
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and services like AWS Lambda and S3
  • Understanding of data integration technologies like Kafka
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new emerging technologies
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence
