Equity Trader

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Equity Trader to join our team. As an Equity Trader, you will be responsible for understanding the markets, technical and fundamental stock market reports and advising the same to high net worth individual (HNI) / ultra high net worth individual (UHNI) clients.
  • The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of derivative strategies and be able to generate direct brokerage revenues by advising various trading and stock ideas based on the market pulse to the clients.
  • You will also be responsible for improving market share in Trading and Delivery calls through advisory calls for the clients mapped to the desk and the respective advisor.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients and converting dormant clients into active ones is also a key responsibility.
  • We require someone with excellent communication and sales skills to acquire new HNI/UHNI clients with reference from existing clients and other market references.
  • This role involves regular meetings with Active clients, regional visits for HNI client meetings, seminars/events, and cross-selling of third-party focussed products as suggested by the Anand Rathi group.
  • A minimum experience of around 5 years from banking and broking industries and managing bank AUM of HNI Clients is required.
