Job Title: Program Operations Lead

About the Role

The Program Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a skill development project. This includes managing program management, mobilization, enrolment, training, placement, and student journey management.

This role requires a strong leader who can manage teams effectively and drive results-oriented programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Oversee the overall program strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Mobilization: Build and maintain key partnerships with institutions and government agencies to achieve program objectives
  • Enrolment: Supervise enrolment processes to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Training: Own the training process to ensure effective learning outcomes
  • Placement: Monitor and enable student participation in placement activities
  • Student Journey Management: Ensure seamless student experience from enrolment to graduation
  • Batch Progression and Outcome Monitoring: Track and analyze program progress to inform decision-making
  • Placement Support: Provide support to students in securing placements
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports on program performance
  • Build a Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive work culture
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to build trust and credibility
  • People Management: Lead and manage a team of program managers
  • Financial Management: Oversee program finances and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and submit timely reports
  • Administration: Provide administrative support to the program team
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the skill development industry, with at least 3 years in team management
  • At least 3 years of experience in donor-funded skilling operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including patience and perseverance
  • Ability to counsel students
  • Inclination towards society and working with marginalized communities
  • Prior experience as a Center Head in skill development projects is an added advantage
