High-Impact Software Migration Project

This is a challenging project for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to migrate our legacy UI to Spring Boot microservices and host UI pages on AWS.
We are seeking a professional with excellent knowledge of Java and related frameworks such as Spring/Springboot to join our team.
- Migrate legacy UI systems to a new microservice architecture.
- Upgrade legacy Java applications to Springboot applications ensuring high-quality and secure code.
- Build and maintain highly available, resilient and secure production systems on AWS Cloud.
- Test, document and otherwise quality proof your work to ensure that software meets business and operational needs.
- Troubleshoot any issues to identify root cause and appropriate resolution.
- Maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to optimize deployment processes.
- Support production deployments, operations and maintenance activities.
- Monitor metrics and identify ways to improve logging, reporting, and alerting.
- Follow agile principles and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent knowledge and experience working with Java and related frameworks such as Spring/Springboot.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices, build and deployment technologies (e.g. Maven, Jenkins, Docker).
- Experience working in production with AWS Cloud infrastructure (e.g. EC2, RDS, S3, Elastic Search)
