Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our quality assurance initiatives and drive high-quality SaaS product releases. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting and designing automation frameworks for large-scale real-time server-side systems, owning non-functional testing, and mentoring and developing engineers and managers in the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct quality assurance initiatives to build a high-quality culture
  • Own and drive high-quality SaaS product releases
  • Architect and design automation frameworks for large-scale real-time server-side systems
  • Own non-functional testing, including performance, scale, longevity, security, high availability, and disaster recovery aspects of a 24x7 system
  • Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and managers in the team
  • Work on different aspects of the product, including UI, backend, big data lake, and ML systems
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and use them for automation
  • Ensure that all deliverables adhere to world-class quality
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Set high standards for quality products and drive best practices
  • Internalize and practice agile best practices from development to deployment
  • Good understanding of testing frameworks, such as Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, and TestNG
  • Excellent grasp of testing microservices
  • Excellent grasp of 1+ languages, preferably Java, and hands-on experience when needed
  • Solid grasp of large-scale distributed real-time systems and testing them
  • Prior experience with performance, scale testing, and publishing benchmarks
  • Experience working on one of AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Understanding of big data technologies, such as Spark and Hadoop, is a plus
  • Experience with secure best practices and SOC2 certifications is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Linux
