Job Title

A key member of our team will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of our storage infrastructure.

With expertise in mainframe storage subsystems, you will help us meet our data storage and management needs effectively, contributing to our mission of leading and innovating in the fintech space.

You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Mainframe storage subsystems, ensuring compatibility, performance, and reliability. You will also perform storage capacity planning and provisioning to meet current and future storage requirements.

Additionally, you will configure and manage storage management software and utilities to automate storage administration tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include monitoring storage performance and resource utilization, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and optimizing data placement.

You will implement and maintain disaster recovery and data replication solutions for Mainframe storage systems.

Collaboration with system administrators, database administrators, and application teams is required to support data backup and recovery operations and data migration projects.

You will develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and standards for storage administration tasks.

Technical support and assistance to internal teams and end-users are provided by troubleshooting and resolving storage-related issues.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and/or equivalent military experience.

8+ years of experience in Mainframe storage subsystems, architecture, and management are required.

Experience with storage management software and utilities such as DFSMS, DFSMSdss, and DFSMSrmm are required.

Storage virtualization technologies and concepts including DASD, VTS, and SAN/NAS storage provisioning are required.

Storage networking protocols and technologies such as FICON, Fibre Channel, and SCSI are required.
