At TSYS Card Tech Services India LLP, we're on a mission to revolutionize the payments technology landscape. As an Agile Project Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our software development teams towards delivering high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

About This Role

As a seasoned Agile expert, you'll be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to provide agile-based project deliverables. You'll facilitate internal and external communication, remove impediments, and serve as the intermediary between multiple product owners, managers, and team members. Your strong communication skills will guide the project team through the Scrum process, ensuring adherence to Scrum methodologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use your exceptional communication skills to conduct Daily Scrum meetings, guiding and developing clear Sprint standards while keeping the team engaged and on task.
  • Enact Scrum values and practices, providing updates on the team's performance and removing impediments that hinder team progress.
  • Facilitate Grooming/Refinement, Sprint Planning, Demos, Retrospectives, and Daily Standup meetings for the assigned team(s).
  • Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity and innovation, engaging the team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.
  • Partners with the development leads or appropriate team member for capacity planning and resource allocation in Agile tools.
  • Coach teams to break down business requirements into stories and tasks, promoting and leading the team to continuous improvement of structure, processes, and tooling.
  • Use strong analytical and problem-resolution skills to identify difficult sources of impediments.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a seasoned Agile expert with a proven track record of leading Scrum teams. You'll need to be a subject matter expert on Scrum and Agile practices, with the ability to train non-Agile team members on best practices. You'll also need to be self-motivated, capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated, and a team player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working within Scrum teams, with 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
  • Proven experience on multiple small Scrum teams required.
  • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies and transitioning teams from Waterfall to Agile.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personality types.
  • Ability to understand technical issues at a high level.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
  • Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel.
  • Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Must be self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, including both writing and speaking.
