We are looking for a skilled and experienced CPU Verification Engineer to join our verification team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable testbenches using UVM methodology. You will drive complex test scenarios and ensure full functional coverage and quality sign-off.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing UVM-based testbenches for verifying CPU cores and subsystems
  • Writing directed and random test cases to verify micro architectural features such as pipelines, ALUs, branch prediction, caches, MMUs, etc.
  • Driving functional and code coverage closure
  • Debugging failures using waveform tools, logs, and simulation dumps

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture, strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog, and expertise in RTL simulation and debugging tools. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Perl, or shell for automation is also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in digital design and verification methodologies
  • Deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture (pipeline, out-of-order execution, caches, TLBs, memory hierarchy)
  • Expertise in RTL simulation and debugging tools (VCS, ModelSim, Verdi, DVE, etc.)
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Perl, or shell for automation

  • Experience with formal verification, emulation, or post-silicon debug
