Job Title: Senior Automation Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team at Quess Corp Limited.

Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Test Automation Suites: Our ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation suites using Playwright (Coded UI) to validate Microsoft D365 functionality and integration points.
  • Test Case Execution and Analysis: The successful candidate will create and execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Collaboration with Development and QA Teams: We require someone who can collaborate with development and QA teams to understand product requirements and identify testing needs.
  • Test Data and Environment Setup: Our ideal candidate will develop and maintain test data and environment setups to support automated testing.
  • Performance Optimization: The successful candidate will design optimized test scripts for performance and maintainability.
  • Staying Updated with Latest Technologies: We need someone who stays updated with the latest Playwright features and best practices.
  • Contribution to Testing Frameworks and Methodologies: Our ideal candidate will contribute to the development of testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Ensuring Test Data Availability: The successful candidate will ensure the availability and quality of test data for automated testing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Playwright Expert or Software Test Engineer: Our ideal candidate has proven experience as a Playwright Expert (2+) or Software Test Engineer (5+) with a strong focus on automation.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Playwright Framework: The successful candidate has in-depth knowledge of the Playwright framework and its capabilities or is an expert in creating/modifying frameworks using Selenium Java.
  • Proficiency in Programming Languages: We require someone proficient in programming languages like JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Understanding of Software Testing Methodologies: Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: The successful candidate possesses excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: We require someone who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good Communication and Documentation Skills: Our ideal candidate has good communication and documentation skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: The successful candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Understanding of Microsoft D365 CRM Modules: Our ideal candidate has an understanding of Microsoft D365 CRM modules and integration points.
  • Proficiency in Test Management Tools and Test Automation Frameworks: The successful candidate is proficient in test management tools and test automation frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines: Our ideal candidate has experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
  • Knowledge of Other Testing Frameworks: The successful candidate has knowledge of other testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: We require someone familiar with cloud platforms (Azure).
