We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Developer to join our team at Boston Scientific, a world-leader in medical technology. About the Role:- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software applications that meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in C# Microsoft development using the .NET Framework 3.0 onwards, WPF, XAML, MVVM, OOPS, Design Patterns, Multi-Threading, SQL Server, Unit and Integration testing.
- Collaborate with senior staff, direct reports, and cross-functional collaborators to ensure efficient communication and project delivery.
- Grow the business by establishing a strategic team structure to allow the company to scale with additional software products, contributing to product innovations, identifying, and implementing tactical continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Required skills in C# Microsoft development using the .NET Framework 3.0 onwards, WPF, XAML, MVVM, OOPS, Design Patterns, Multi-Threading, SQL Server, Unit and Integration testing.
- Familiarity with software configuration management and/or source code version control systems.
- Experience with medical device regulations and standards, such as IEC 62304, IEC 60601, and FDA guidance documents.
- Expertise in developing software using Scrum methodology.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in agile, small-team environments.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously when necessary.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year based on location and experience.
