Senior Node Developer & Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Node Developer & Test Engineer to drive the development and testing of our Node.js applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding and automation testing experience in JavaScript technologies, with a focus on scalability, high availability, and reliability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and enhancing existing Node.js applications using the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Designing, developing, and deploying scalable, highly available Restful APIs / Microservices using JavaScript technologies.
  • Creating end-to-end Automation test suites using Playwright / Selenium, preferably using BDD approach.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and making recommendations for adoption and integration.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Expert knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD principles.
  • Strong understanding of containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with API gateways, Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication, and task/message queues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
