As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, engineering, and implementing network services and solutions that drive business success.

Job Description

This position is focused on creating and improving network infrastructure to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.

  • Design and engineer LAN / WAN / WiFi networks, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage network service and circuit capacity, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Plan and deliver projects, specifying hardware and software, coordinating vendors, and ensuring operational turnover.
  • Develop and execute new initiatives to simplify, standardize, optimize, and automate network designs, tooling, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Network Architects, Test and Certification, Information Security, Finance, Procurement, and others.
  • Participate in product strategy and planning, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Escalate operational issues and outages as Level 3 support, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, with a focus on wireless, SD-WAN, and LAN infrastructure.
  • Expertise in enterprise wireless protocols, RF site surveys, and security best practices, ensuring robust network security.
  • Proven hands-on experience with SD-WAN (Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN experience preferred), driving network agility and scalability.
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience with Fabric-based LAN architectures, optimizing network performance and efficiency.
  • Proficient in Layer 2/3 networking concepts, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast, ensuring seamless network operation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills, including collaboration with non-technical teams and customers.

This role requires an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience/certification.
