Job Opportunity: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to manage our financial records with accuracy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, strong communication skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and solid knowledge of accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations (BRS).
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review.
  • Manage invoicing, billing, and collections efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with external accountants and auditors as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience, experience in healthcare or clinical setting will be an asset.
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent degree.
  • Proficient in Quick Books and other accounting software tools.
  • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations (BRS), accounts payable (AP), and Canadian payroll regulations.
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
