We are seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Applications.

  • Teaching and Academic Delivery: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate classes in Computer Applications and related subjects such as Programming, Database Management, AI & ML, Web Development, and Networking.
  • Curriculum Development: You will develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and e-learning resources to enhance student learning.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: You will guide students in projects, internships, and research work, assessing their performance and providing academic and career guidance.

Research and Publications: As an Assistant Professor, you will engage in research and publications, applying for funded research projects, and contributing to the department's academic growth. You will also participate in curriculum design and updates, integrating innovative teaching methodologies like AI tools, AR/VR, and blended learning approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering courses on computer applications and related areas
  • Guiding students in research projects and internships
  • Assessing student performance and providing feedback
  • Engaging in research and publications
  • Participating in curriculum design and updates

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or Applications preferred
  • Experience in teaching, research, or industry preferred
  • Technical expertise in programming languages, web technologies, databases, and knowledge of AI/ML, Cloud Computing, and Data Science
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong academic orientation and ability to mentor and motivate students
