Cloud Architect Job Description

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure services in AWS. This involves deploying and maintaining scalable and secure systems that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploying and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure services in AWS
  • Designing and implementing service-oriented architecture, cloud-based web services architecture, design patterns, and frameworks
  • Ensuring good knowledge of cloud-related services like compute, storage, network, messaging (Eg SNS,SQS), security (Eg Security Hub, Guard duty) and automation (Eg. CFT/Terraform)
  • Providing strong Linux System Admin Experience with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Championing and driving the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and mindset
  • Designing, architecting, and building self-service, self-healing, synthetic monitoring and alerting platform and tools
  • Automating the development and test automation processes through CI/CD pipeline (Git, Jenkins,Maven, SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker containers)
  • Maintaining strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experienced in breaking down complex problems into smaller tasks
  • Enforcing best practices in terms of security and code quality
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum/DevOps software development methodologies

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Hands-on experience with Bash and programming languages like Python/Core Java/Scala
  • Strong understanding of Python either for automation or Backend API development
  • Experience in integrating solutions in a multi-region environment
