Technical Manager Job Description

About the Role:

As a seasoned Technical Manager, you will lead a team of software developers working on .NET technologies. You will oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including architecture, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Oversee the full SDLC, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project roadmaps.
  • Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and recommending improvements in architecture and processes.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance in .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Framework to solve complex development challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

8–12 years of software development experience with strong expertise in .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Framework is necessary.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a technical leadership/managerial role is preferred.

Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and application frameworks is essential.

Experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar) and integration with .NET applications is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is beneficial.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills are crucial.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor developers, are essential.
