
AML Transaction Monitoring Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of AML - Transaction Monitoring Associate/Senior Associate/Team Lead. This is a career-defining opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of assigned alerts and document findings using the AML alert management system.
- Analyze manual referrals generated by different areas of the bank to identify potential risks.
- Review and analyze low, medium, and high-risk accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct enhanced due diligence research of individuals, institutions, and trusts through LexisNexis and other internet tools.
- Collaborate with bank management to identify suspicious transactions conducted by customers.
- Prepare and review loan accounts, RDC (Remote Deposit Capture), wire transfers, and monetary instrument reports.
- Utilize transactional and customer records, external data, publicly available information, and other relevant data to detect suspicious or unusual activity.
- Maintain strong investigative skills and work independently to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and schemes in transactions and relationships across multiple businesses/products.
- Develop and maintain extensive banking and compliance knowledge to stay up-to-date with regulatory changes.
- Foster a culture of transparency and cooperation within the team to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-8 years of experience in AML - Transaction Monitoring (International Process)
- AML level 1 detection is mandatory
- Familiarity with LexisNexis and other internet tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
