Job Title: Senior Packaging Design Manager

\

This role is responsible for driving the development and implementation of innovative packaging solutions for our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging design, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packaging design and development for new and existing products\
  • New product development projects for pharmaceuticals and consumer business\
  • Design re-engineering for emerging markets\
  • Project management for new export customer requirements\
  • Packaging procurement operations for new product development\
  • Vendor development and selection for packaging materials\
  • Cost negotiation and finalization for new product development\
  • Shade card approval and shipment to site\
  • Timely packaging material supply for first commercial supply\
  • Handover of sourcing and procurement activities to packaging procurement team for subsequent supply\\- Site trials, transit trials, and stability studies for packaging materials\\- Alternate packaging options and innovation in packaging material\\- Value engineering in existing and new business requirements\\- Specification optimisation, size rationalisation, and cost savings initiatives\\- Business analysis, spend analysis, opportunity analysis, option generation, portfolio analysis, sourcing approach, strategy creation, and implementation\\- Alternate vendor development and alternate material development\\- Change control and material code creation through DDRL and CQA\\- Rate discussion with DSG\\- Design and appearance uplift for emerging (ROW) and regulated markets (US, EU, and UK)\\- New export customer requirement launch support (biologics and other injectables)\\- Packaging procurement operations (NPD)\
  • Trial materials arrangement, sourcing, vendor development, selection, and performance evaluation\
  • Change control and material code creation through DDRL and CQA\
  • Cost negotiations and finalisation for NPD\
  • Shade card approval and ship to site\
