We are seeking a talented Application Security Consultant to join our team at Appizion Consulting & Solutions. As a cybersecurity expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our clients' applications and systems by identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments on web applications, networks, APIs, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Provide training and guidance on application security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in penetration testing or ethical hacking.
- Hands-on experience with Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, etc.
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Basic knowledge of network security, web applications, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with programming/scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications like CEH, eJPT, OSCP (preferred but not mandatory).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Red Team operations or Social Engineering attacks.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and DevSecOps.
