Job Description

This role is for a Financial Operations Specialist to serve as a direct representative for the CFO at an outsourced location.

  • Act as the CFO's direct representative, ensuring transparency and alignment with financial objectives.
  • Jointly manage and take ownership of financial operations and the company's books of accounts.
Responsibilities
  • Work as an integral part of the Shared Services team to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in financial processes.
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the CFO, addressing financial queries for the specific cluster.
  • Collaborate with OTC and PTP teams to drive synergies across operational towers.
  • Ensure all accounting processes align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Conduct high-level reviews of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements to identify errors or inconsistencies.
  • Provide assurance to the CFO regarding the completeness and accuracy of the General Ledger (GL).
  • Control, review, and sign off on all reconciliations for the Shared Services Center.
  • Co-own the Month-end Close calendar with the CFO and ensure timely book closure.
  • Engage with the CFO and Finance Managers on compliance-related concerns and potential risks.
  • Take a hands-on, action-oriented approach to resolving financial issues and improving process efficiencies.
  • Respond promptly to queries from the CFO and Finance Managers.
Required Skills
  • Strong background in Accounting & Finance.
  • Expertise in General Ledger (GL) management.
  • Experience with Payroll and Operations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership, including the CFO.
