Job Title

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop efficient, scalable SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load data between systems using data flow control flow logic.
    • Integrate data from multiple heterogeneous sources, including SQL Server, flat files, APIs, Excel, etc., and implement business rules, data transformations, such as cleansing, standardization, enrichment, deduplication, manage incremental loads, full loads, slowly changing dimensions (SCD) as required.
    • Write complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, support data transformations, staging logic, perform joins, unions, aggregations, filtering, windowing operations effectively, data preparation, ensure referential integrity, proper indexing, performance.
    • Optimize SSIS packages, tuning buffer sizes, parallelism, minimizing unnecessary transformations, tune SQL queries, monitor execution plans, efficient data movement, transformation, implement efficient data loads in high-volume environments.
    • Develop error-handling mechanisms, event logging SSIS, using Event Handlers, custom logging frameworks, implement restartability, checkpoints, failure notifications, workflows.
    • Conduct unit integration testing ETL pipelines, validate data outputs, source business rules, support QA teams, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution.
    • Packaging deploy version SSIS solutions development test production environments, schedule ETL jobs, SQL Server Agent, enterprise job schedulers, Control-M, Tidal, monitor troubleshoot job failures, performance issues.
    • Maintain documentation ETL designs, data flow diagrams, transformation logic, job schedules, update job dependencies, maintain audit trails, data pipelines.
    • Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, reporting teams, understand data needs, provide technical support, feedback, requirements analysis, post-deployment support, participate sprint planning, status reporting, technical reviews.
    • Ensure ETL processes comply with data governance, security, privacy regulations, HIPAA, GDPR, follow team coding standards, naming conventions, deployment protocols.
Requirements:
  • ETL Developers should have experience in designing and developing efficient, scalable SSIS packages.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, data transformation, data quality, data governance.
  • Experience in working with SQL Server, data warehousing, ETL tools, data analytics.
  • Ability to optimize SSIS packages, tune SQL queries, monitor execution plans, efficient data movement, transformation.
  • Knowledge of error-handling mechanisms, event logging SSIS, custom logging frameworks, implement restartability, checkpoints, failure notifications, workflows.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data architecture, data governance, data security, compliance.
