Audit Professional

We are seeking a skilled Audit Professional to join our team at mycpe-one. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing thorough financial and Fund audits, ensuring compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and assessing internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial and Fund audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
  • Evaluate the accuracy of financial records and ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess risks and develop audit procedures based on identified risk factors.
  • Examine internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed working papers and document audit findings.
  • Communicate audit results clearly to clients or management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with audit team members and coordinate with other departments as needed to deliver high-quality services.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and auditing standards, including PCAOB and SOX regulations.
  • Support the preparation of audit reports and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Mentor junior auditors, sharing expertise and best practices to foster growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in audit roles under a CA firm.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and other relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
