Responsibilities:

  • Design innovative analog and mixed-signal architectures and circuits using CMOS processes.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of technology, architecture, circuit design, and parametric trade-offs to meet aggressive technical performance specifications.
  • Develop transistor-level designs and simulations utilizing industry-leading EDA tools.
  • Lead comprehensive design reviews and ensure adherence to technical guidelines.
  • Supervise Analog Circuit Physical Design Layout and edit layouts to optimize circuit performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Digital Design Engineers, CAD, Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, and Applications teams to ensure seamless integration and rapid silicon bring-up.
  • Perform post-layout parasitic-extraction and back-annotated simulations to validate design integrity.
  • Conduct Monte Carlo Analysis on key circuits to ensure Six-Sigma quality and yields.
  • Participate in the bring-up of silicon prototypes and propose effective solutions for design optimization.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • MTech/M.S degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. with 2 years of Relevant experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven track record of taking at least one analog-mixed signal part to high-volume production.
  • Expertise in circuit architecture development, technical feasibility studies, writing detailed block-level specifications, and reviewing documents.
  • Proficiency with EDA tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE, Mixed-mode AMS tools, and Layout XL.
  • Strong understanding of layout effects for circuit and layout design, with ability to supervise layout designers.
  • Experience with post-layout extraction, verification, validation, characterization, qualification, and production release criteria.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with geographically dispersed teams of mixed-signal, digital, and verification engineers.
  • Capacity to work independently and drive solutions to complex problems.
