About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished ASP.NET developer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality .NET applications.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of optimal technologies, frameworks, and patterns to ensure efficient and effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering top-notch .NET applications that meet and exceed expectations
  • Writing robust test-backed server-side code that is scalable and maintainable
  • Designing and implementing new functionality based on business requirements
  • Supporting and enhancing existing applications to ensure they continue to meet evolving needs
  • Gathering and analyzing requirements to inform design decisions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Documenting application customization to meet internal audit and regulatory standards

Required Skills:

The following skills are essential for this role:

  • .Net 4+ using C# .NET, ASP .NET, ASP .NET Web API, WCF
  • Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular JS, JQuery, and CSS3
  • Proficiency in Entity Framework, NHibernate, and MSSQL/MySQL/Oracle/ PLSQL
  • Knowledge of RDBMS design, including indexes and data integrity
  • Hands-on experience with writing tests using NUnit / XUnit / MSTest
  • Familiarity with Azure Web Apps, Agile Methodology, SCRUM Framework, Test-Driven Development, and software design patterns
  • Experience with GIT, Azure DevOps, and collaborative development tools

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 4 years of experience as an ASP.NET developer
  • A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Strong written skills and ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
  • Comfort with technology systems and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • A solid grasp of solution-centered approach and customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

While not required, experience in financial domain and working on large data applications is highly valued.
