Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate software products against established quality standards.
  • Verify that user experience features are functioning correctly.
  • Ensure that physics features are accurately implemented.
  • Perform regular regression testing on the user interface.
  • Maintain a comprehensive suite of user interface tests to ensure full coverage of our software.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to identify new test requirements as software evolves.
  • Document and track software issues, working closely with developers to resolve them promptly.
  • Monitor automated tests and take corrective action when issues arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a strong academic record.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Linux operating systems.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with model compilers, such as Visual Studio or GCC.
  • Experience with Co-simulation and Software-in-the-Loop applications.
  • Knowledge of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) systems, including dSpace, NI, Concurrent, and Speedgoat.
  • Certification in software testing is highly valued.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins for building and deploying software packages.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level CAE applications, such as GT-SUITE.
