Job Title:

Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Description:

This is a pivotal role that requires meticulous attention to detail and exceptional technical expertise. As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for driving quality across our software products.

The successful candidate will design and implement test strategies, develop automation frameworks, and ensure seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines. This individual will work closely with development teams to identify, track, and resolve issues while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and automation frameworks.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Conduct thorough regression, exploratory, and usability testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating with developers for resolution.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Ensure adherence to security and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Provide insightful test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices.
Requirements:

To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Additionally, the successful candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in software testing and automation, along with strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

A solid understanding of CI/CD tools and performance testing frameworks (JMeter, LoadRunner) is also essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
