About the Job

This role involves leading a team of integration specialists to drive migration to a modern middleware architecture using SoftwareAG WebMethods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Mentor Team Members: Define goals, ensure timely delivery, and provide guidance to team members.
  • Drive Migration: Oversee the transition from BizTalk/custom solutions to SoftwareAG WebMethods, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Manage APIs and Middleware: Handle API & Middleware (Azure APIM, WebMethods API Gateway) management, including security, compliance, and performance optimization.
  • Design and Maintain APIs: Create and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, orchestrations, and workflows, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Ensure Integration Security: Implement OAuth, JWT, SAML for integration security, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and Optimize: Identify and resolve integration issues, optimize performance, and document best practices for future reference.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in WebMethods, BizTalk, API Gateway, and integration solutions.
  • Expertise in API development (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, messaging protocols).
  • Strong skills in APIM, BizTalk Server, SQL Server, Docker/Kubernetes, Azure Service Bus, Kafka/RabbitMQ.
  • Coding skills: C#, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Knowledge of microservices, ESB, BPM, and workflow automation.
