Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps professional to spearhead the design and implementation of robust automated build systems, manage source control repositories, and integrate static code analysis and IP compliance tools into our development workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automated Build and CI/CD Pipelines
    • Develop and maintain scalable automated build scripts to ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
    • Manage daily and weekly build schedules to optimize efficiency and reliability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and enhance build workflows.
  • Source Control Management
    • Administer and maintain source control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) to ensure optimal repository performance and storage.
    • Enforce best practices for branching, merging, tagging, and versioning to maintain code integrity.
  • Static Code Analysis
    • Implement static code analysis checks to identify potential issues and improve code quality.
    • Integrate code quality tools into the CI/CD pipeline to streamline reporting and feedback.
  • IP Compliance & Violation Analysis
    • Develop scripts to scan code for potential IP violations and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
    • Collaborate with legal/compliance teams to address violations and remediation plans.
  • Build Analytics & Log Management
    • Implement analytics to monitor and improve build performance, including log management using NFS or other storage solutions.
    • Perform root cause analysis from log data to resolve recurring issues.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging DevOps tools and technologies to propose and implement process improvements.
    • Share knowledge through documentation, workshops, and mentoring to enhance team productivity and reliability.
