Job Description

The job will involve working on financial close, internal and external reporting, and the end-to-end lease cycle.

The team will focus on developing new capabilities in data science, data analytics, eCommerce, automation, cloud computing, and information security to accelerate our business strategy.

This position supports efforts to ensure complete and accurate financial close, internal, and external reporting, and the end-to-end lease cycle.

Responsibilities include shared service / centralized lease accounting close and reporting process, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company policy and procedures.

  • Maintain proper accounting and documentation of all activity in accordance with U.S. GAAP and in compliance with internal and external audits.
  • Determine lease classification in accordance with U.S. GAAP ASC 842.
  • Collaborate with senior staff on a regular basis.

Additional responsibilities include completing month-end close processes, including subledger work, general ledger entries, and internal and external financial reporting deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in lease accounting.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 842.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
