Visual Design Lead

We're looking for a Visual Design Lead to join our team. As a Visual Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the visual design of our educational content.

About the Role:

The Visual Design Lead will oversee the development of visual design concepts and ensure they align with our brand guidelines. You will work closely with our curriculum development team to understand their needs and deliver high-quality visuals that enhance the learning experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement visual design concepts that meet our brand standards.
  • Collaborate with our curriculum development team to understand their needs and deliver high-quality visuals.
  • Lead the in-house graphics team to develop creative and visually appealing designs.
  • Manage the workflow and assign tasks to team members, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to the graphics team to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Oversight of graphic creation including marketing collateral, social media content, website graphics, and educational resources.
  • Quality Assurance and Brand Consistency:
  • Ensure all graphics are of high quality and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve graphic quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and styles.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and branding.
  • Experience managing external vendors and outsourcing graphic projects.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
