Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to play a crucial role in designing and developing user-centered design solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Design mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Ensure finer details in design principles, concepts, layout, alignment, visualization etc.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g., icons, illustrations and color palettes)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
  • Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
  • Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
  • Present and defend your design decisions with fundamentals

Key qualifications include:

  • 1-3 years of work experience in creating UI/UX design in web and mobile apps.
  • Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Engineering or related field
  • Prior experience as a UI/UX Designer and strong portfolio of related projects
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Proficient in prototyping tool Figma, (or Adobe XD).
  • Basic understanding of web development is a plus to validate the feasibility of designs
  • Pay great attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
  • Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with teams & different stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of design theory, especially principles of logo, graphic/UI design, and usability.
