Dental Claims Processor

As a skilled Insurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences.

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits via phone calls, online platforms, or electronic verification tools to ensure accurate information.
• Confirm coverage details including plan start dates, frequency limitations, waiting periods, maximums, deductibles, copays, and non-covered services to minimize claim denials.
• Document verified information accurately and promptly within our dental management system to maintain data integrity.
• Directly contact insurance companies for clarification on ambiguous or missing information to prevent miscommunication.
• Identify and escalate issues like inactive policies, lapses, or unclear rules to relevant teams.
• Communicate benefit details to front office staff and treatment coordinators to support informed treatment planning and financial estimates.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Meet or exceed daily productivity goals and accuracy standards.
• Support claims submission and billing teams by maintaining up-to-date verified insurance information.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in insurance verification.
• Familiarity with dental management software.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs).
