Job Summary:

The Sr IT Engineer - Lab IT plays a crucial role in delivering and collaborating with Manufacturing and Lab teams on validated environments, manufacturing tools, R&D in APAC, EMEA, and AMR regions. This position requires experience managing lab & manufacturing systems, tools, updating, and patching validated systems as well as working with R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of lab/manufacturing ticket requests (Service Now).
  • Manage and deploy software, patches, security tools to Lab/Manufacturing systems using SCCM.
  • Able to collaborate deeply with Lab IT support teams in other regions and provide support to Lab and Manufacturing environments globally.
  • Able to engage with various support teams to perform in-depth investigations and provide technical analysis findings related to SLA Incident Management.
  • Assist in creating and reviewing engineering documents to support Lab IT Projects, including Work Instructions, Quality Plans, Datasheets, Application Notes, Technical Notes, Installation Notes, Programming Guides, User Manuals, Product Change Notifications, White Papers.
  • Create and maintain various forms of documentation (Configurations, Quick Reference Guides, Knowledge base articles).
  • Participate in local, regional, and global projects.
  • Handle other tasks assigned by Manager.
  • Have some knowledge of IOQ in qualification processes.
  • Preferably have worked in Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industries before.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience with enterprise-level IT operations roles.
  • Strong experience with SCCM & imaging in SCCM.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell Scripting, SQL queries, and other scripting languages.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 7, 10, 11, Server, IP Addressing, AD, DHCP, DNS, File Sharing, GPO, Database, Network & Firewall Administration, Port Security.
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Linux (Cent OS, Redhat Enterprise, etc.).
  • Experiences with Cloud Services.
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Experience with Technical Writing is important.
  • Initiative & self-management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, partners, and leadership.
  • Excellent troubleshooting / problem-solving skills.
  • A tenacious, data-driven, logical problem solver.

Preferred Experience / Education / Skills:

  • BS / BA Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation.

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
