Job Overview

Data drives business growth and decision-making. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building data foundations and end-to-end solutions to maximize value from data.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for creating a data-driven culture within the organization, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive business impact.
  • Your expertise in data engineering and technology will enable you to design and build scalable data architectures, ensuring high-quality data delivery to support business decisions.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions, leveraging your technical skills and knowledge to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data pipelines, data warehousing, and data management solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define data architecture, and ensure data quality.
  • Develop and maintain complex data processing algorithms using Spark and other technologies.
  • Work with cloud-based platforms, such as Azure, to design and implement scalable data architectures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years working on Big Data technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data modeling, data integration, and data processing.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as Azure, and proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
