Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our company's converged infrastructure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the provisioning and deployment of new infrastructure resources to support business growth.
  • Resolving complex infrastructure-related issues to ensure maximum uptime and performance of our SAN infrastructure and converged platforms.
  • Collaborating with the L2 team and clients to resolve escalated issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Analyzing monitoring results from storage, RecoverPoint, UCS, and vCenter to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance, security, and utilization.
  • Developing and recommending infrastructure modifications or additional equipment to increase system capacities and meet business demands.
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining high levels of system uptime and performance through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Coordinating with OEMs to replace hardware, advance troubleshoot, and perform code upgrades as necessary.
  • Managing day-to-day operations, including BMC ticket closure within SLA and coordination with multiple teams to resolve issues.
  • Planning and implementing required changes and raising RFCs accordingly.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in converged infrastructure management.
  • Expertise in VMware administration, storage, and networking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
