Culinary Expert in Pan Asian Cuisine

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Expert to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and innovating Pan Asian cuisine.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced chef to lead our Pan Asian culinary section. You will be responsible for planning and executing menus with creativity and authenticity, while ensuring high-quality standards and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and execute Pan Asian menus with creativity and authenticity, ensuring high-quality standards and guest satisfaction.
  2. Kitchen Operations: Oversee kitchen operations for Asian cuisine sections, including wok, sushi, teppanyaki, dim sum, etc.
  3. Staff Training and Supervision: Train and supervise kitchen staff on Asian cooking techniques, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  4. Quality Control: Ensure quality, taste, presentation, and portion control, maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence.
  5. Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
  6. Cost Management: Control food costs, wastage, and maintain inventory, optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
  7. Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with the F&B team to design promotions and specialty menus, staying updated with Asian food trends and guest preferences.
Requirements:
  • Culinary Degree or Diploma: Hold a culinary degree or diploma, or equivalent certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in culinary arts.
  • Experience in Pan Asian Cuisine: Possess 4-6 years of experience in Pan Asian cuisine, preferably in a luxury hotel restaurant, showcasing expertise in wok, sushi, dim sum, and modern Asian techniques.
  • Leadership and Team Management Skills: Demonstrate leadership and team management skills, inspiring and guiding kitchen staff to achieve excellence.
  • Creativity, Guest Orientation, and Attention to Detail: Be creative, guest-oriented, and detail-focused, delivering exceptional culinary experiences that exceed guest expectations.
