About the Role:

As a seasoned Frontend Developer, you will be instrumental in crafting high-performance, scalable, and responsive web applications that exceed user expectations.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop cutting-edge UI components, integrating them seamlessly into the Liferay CE 7.4.x platform.

Your expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React ecosystem (React, Redux, ClayUI) will enable you to build interactive user forms, data listings, filters, and other UI components that drive business results.

In this role, you will also be responsible for connecting the entire frontend to our services by working with REST API clients, leveraging Open API specifications to ensure seamless integration with our backend systems.

A collaborative self-starter with hands-on experience and a can-do attitude, you will thrive in a dynamic global environment where accuracy and details are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and responsive web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UI components into the Liferay CE 7.4.x platform.
  • Build interactive user forms, data listings, filters, and other UI components using JavaScript/TypeScript and React ecosystem.
  • Connect the entire frontend to our services using REST API clients and Open API specifications.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React framework.
  • Experience with REST APIs and understanding OpenAPI specifications.
  • Working knowledge of GitOps, including managing infrastructure changes via pull requests.
  • Daily use of Docker for local development with docker compose.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes from a user perspective.
  • Ability to read and understand Jenkins pipelines.
  • Basic understanding of OpenSearch (Elasticsearch) is a plus—you should be able to query data and troubleshoot errors via the GUI.
  • Experience with Liferay CE 7.4.x and Java is a major advantage.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
