Shift Engineer Paint Shop Job Summary

This position is a production engineer role where you will handle shift production output in Paint shop, monitor and control chemical consumption, and manage internal quality audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control the Consumption of Chemicals, Machines, CED, Consumables
  • Responsible for all trials of new Paint Consumables related to new development cost saving ideas
  • Manage Quality Interface w.r.t Process Quality Product Quality at different operations in Tractor Axle Paint Lines
  • Manage Internal Quality Audits as PCPA CQA ADPU EOL Checks
  • Monitor Paint Chemical consumption Consumables Consumptions Energy Mapping making implementing cost reduction plans Continual improvement through kaizen 4M 5Why analysis other WCM tools method
  • Monitor Process and Material rejections and its control for his shift
  • Maintain the work culture in his shift maintaining and improving the moral of team
  • Handle complete manpower deployment for the Shop

The ideal candidate will have 10-14 years of experience and a graduation degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Chemistry.
