Job Opportunity:

The Physiotherapist position involves conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions, such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's, cerebral palsy, and multiple sclerosis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop individualized physiotherapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Collaborate with the patient and healthcare team to set short-term and long-term rehabilitation objectives.
  • Implement evidence-based neurophysiotherapy techniques, such as NDT, PNF, Bobath, and motor relearning programs. Utilize mobility aids, balance equipment, and assistive technologies as necessary.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly and update treatment plans accordingly. Document therapy sessions, assessments, and improvements in the patient's file.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture correction, transfers, fall prevention, and home exercise programs. Provide psychological support and motivation to enhance patient compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and neurologists. Participate in case discussions and coordinated care planning.
  • Recommend and train patients on the use of orthoses, mobility aids, wheelchairs, and other supportive equipment.
