As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of cloud deployments, systems, and services. Your responsibilities will include implementing, managing, and supporting cloud environments to guarantee high levels of availability, redundancy, and business continuity.

  • You will be responsible for acting as a trusted security advisor within your assigned vertical, participating in high-value customer engagement activities that promote trust and reliability.
  • You will build, deploy, and manage Virtual Machines, PaaS services such as Analytics, and automation in the Azure Cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • As a leader and SME for Azure platforms (IaaS, Intune/Autopilot, etc.), you will drive innovation and excellence within the IT operations team, creating deployment guides, Standard Operating Procedures, and performing knowledge transfers to enhance team capabilities.
  • You will design, write, and deliver scripts (JSON, PowerShell, Perl, Python) and automation code to improve the availability, scalability, reliability, and efficiency of On-prem, Azure Cloud, and application integration platforms.
  • You will also participate in process improvement discussions, identify bottlenecks/challenges, and provide technical insight to drive positive change and growth.

  • You must have a strong foundation in Computer Science or Information Technology, with a degree or diploma from a recognized institution or equivalent industry experience.
  • A post-secondary education obtained through a community college or one or more professional designations is highly valued.
  • With up to 7 years of experience in Server and Cloud Administration, you should hold Microsoft Azure Certification (AZ100 or AZ300 preferred) and possess VMWare Virtualization Certification as an asset.
  • Programming language experience is a nice-to-have, but not essential.
