Job Overview:

As a skilled video editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual narrative of our election campaigns. Your expertise will bring together various elements to create engaging and informative content that resonates with our target audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit video content for post-production, ensuring seamless transitions and cohesive storytelling.
  • Develop and edit graphics for videos as needed, utilizing creative vision to enhance the overall aesthetic.
  • Guarantee that all videos adhere to established standards for quality and length, upholding the highest level of professionalism.
  • Upload videos to social media platforms in a timely manner, meeting deadlines and maximizing exposure.
  • Employ company-standard editing practices, incorporating voiceovers and music when necessary, to maintain consistency and polish.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Manager on scheduling productions and setting realistic deadlines, fostering a productive work environment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in video editing; experience in a News Channel or Ad Agency preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-leading video editing software such as Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of politics and India's democratic system.
  • Familiarity with special effects, animation, 3D, and compositing techniques.
  • Calm under pressure, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and adaptable to changing deadlines.
  • Deadline-focused and goal-driven, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
