Job Title: Vulnerability Management Specialist
Role OverviewThis role involves analyzing and managing vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and software. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices for vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Assist the manager in creating and maintaining policies, procedures, reporting, and best practices for vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation.
- Vulnerability Identification and Assessment: Operate vulnerability scanning tools to ensure timely and complete scans of systems, networks, and software.
- Remediation Coordination: Ensure timely distribution of vulnerability reports to stakeholders responsible for remediation and track progress.
- Threat Intelligence Integration: Stay updated on emerging threats and integrate threat intelligence into the vulnerability management process.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security frameworks.
- Cybersecurity experience: 3+ years
- Bachelor's degree
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (Rapid7, Qualys)
- Strong knowledge across core domains (Vulnerability Management, External Attack Surface Management, etc.)
- Cyber certifications (CISM, CISSP) or equivalent
