Cloud Engineer Job Description

Our team seeks a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services in AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, CI/CD tools, scripting languages, and containerization technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure using native AWS services.
  • Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, and other DevOps tools.
  • Optimize Cloud Services: Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services in AWS, leveraging native services like EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to streamline operations.
  • Containerized Applications: Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps practices and cloud engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • 2+ years of scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • 2+ years of working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve AWS Cloud-related issues.
  • Experience in deploying and supporting AWS-native applications.
  • Knowledge of AWS CDK for provisioning infrastructure as code (IaC).
