Healthcare Professional with Expertise in Medication Dispensing

We are seeking a qualified healthcare professional to fill a critical role at our community pharmacy. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in medication dispensing and provide professional healthcare advice to patients.

The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate dispensing of medicines, providing proper dosage instructions, and maintaining inventory, including stock checking, ordering, and expiry tracking.

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently as per doctor prescriptions
• Provide counseling on medications and relevant health information to patients
• Maintain inventory and control systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure all sales and dispensing operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Manage billing and point-of-sale operations to optimize business performance
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, invoices, and stock registers
• Educate patients on over-the-counter medicines, healthy lifestyle choices, and basic health awareness
• Collaborate with healthcare providers as needed to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Comply with all pharmacy safety, cleanliness, and documentation protocols

• D Pharm or B Pharm from a recognized institution
• Valid registration with the pharmacy council
• Advanced knowledge of medications, interactions, and pharmacy laws
• Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A calm, respectful, and ethical attitude towards patients and colleagues
